Mass Effect handcrafts by YumiKoyuki Mass Effect handcrafts by YumiKoyuki
Some things I made at school.

I made the bag first for ~noyn as a surprise because she still likes Mass Effect too much and the bag I made for her of stormtroopers in high school has been worn out for too long already. I was sad that I couldn’t keep the bag myself for I had grown very attached to it, so I wanted to make something useful for myself, too. So in came a little pouch for my PSP. :>

For the bag I used opaque ink and coloured foil, for the pouch only coloured foil. And oh yeah, I sewed them, too.

They look amazing! When you say you used coloured foil, you're talking about the slippery fabirc, right?

There are foils meant for fabrics, just search Google and you should find them and how to use them easily.

Of course the price would be much, much lower if I didn't sew the bag myself and instead bought some plain fabric bags from wholesale. In that case the bag wouldn't have a lining and thus wouldn't be as strong as with lining (I made the bag in question with lining to endure more consumption). Plus, without a lining the printing might show a bit on the inside of the bag. But yeah, there are plus and minus sides of using ready made bags.

How much it'll cost in the end, it depends entirely on the product size and materials.

Yay, thank you! Maybe I'll get around it and buy the needed materials next month when I have more money.

I have been asked that several times and yes, I am willing, when I have the materials (this was a school work so the materials were free to use there, but now when I'd have to make things outside of school it's going to cost money) and people willing to buy these even when they know what they are actually asking: it won't be cheap. It's nowhere near 20e, since it takes time, the materials cost and it's handmade, it's original. If I were to count the price of only that bag, it would cost about 80e at its cheapest + shipping. It's really rare that people actually understand the work behind the original product, so I just want to make sure. If you're still wishing to get one, I'll take a note! (Thank you for your interest, at least!)
