And here you have a finished drawing of Tali and Garrus. I used aquarelle pencils, aquarelles, wax pastels and a gel pen. I like to think this is the moment before they go to the last war. Even though Garrus is wearing the ME2 armor.
Wow, sorry everyone's being rude to you about the whole Tali/Garrus thing. Personally, while I enjoy Tali's romance, I enjoy the Tali/Garrus romance because it's cute, they've known each other for so long, and hey, why pine after a taken Shepard when they could have there own romance and be happy? And besides, this piece is very lovely. The use of colors, the intimacy of the pose, and even the fact you can see in the mask Tali's tears really stirs emotion into the piece. Well done.
Thank you so much for your support. I totally share your thoughts about loving both Tali's romance as an individual experience and Tali/Garrus as another. Also even if I disliked the pairing, I can't see why I couldn't still draw them together. Sure, people usually draw what they like but I could be thinking anything about some pairing. So yeah, I don't really appreciate it when people only see the pairing and not the time and effort put into the piece. :'>
The contrast between the abstract background and smooth characters is a nice touch. And it is nice to see some fanart featuring this couple every once in a while, especially when it is so well done.
Honestly, i hate this pairing. Not the fact that because "they can eat the same food" or because "it's canon" . But because it make no sense at all, there was not a single build up in the entire serie, unlike Liara with Feron or Tali with Reegar. Plus it almost like a "sex mode" and not true love .
But i still respect player's choices as long as they respect mine and my opinion .
I find their pairing funny exactly for the fact it came out of nowhere. They just were there tangled with each other. Them trying to hide it with the whole "whoops, Shepard, didn't see you there, ahem" thing just makes it hilarious. And maybe they already and a thing with each other but the player didn't know anything about it since, well, they were obviously trying to hide it. I find it logic in that sense that they are in a same ship for really long periods of time and the world is about to end (or something) so they find comfort from each other. Maybe it's just sex, but who cares, they feel they need it in that situation. I understand it if people don't like it, but I myself have never disliked any pairing. I don't know, I guess I just can find logic in everything. But as said, I don't find it wrong or right with Tali x Garrus. It's not canon for me, it's just something that happens if neither Tali or Garrus have been romanced.
Good you can respect people's choices, for there are people who can't. :>
They can't have a thing together because if you romance Tali and play Shadow Broker's Lair, Liara tell you that Tali has fallen in love for Shepard since ME 1, so she can't have a thing with Garrus in this time, plus Garrus is very arrogant with her in ME 1, and i don't think i'd try to have a thing with a person who act like a asshole with me. Then in ME 2, Tali clearly threatened him (in a serious tone) with her shotgun and during her romance, she clearly admit that she never wanted to share her suit with anyone except Shepard (if you romance her of course). So even if you left her in ME 3, they didn't have time because Tali make an apperance at the middle/End of the game and Garrus at almost the beginning and even their conversation (romanced or not) look like more friendship than love . So i always saw them in a sibling relationship or brother/sister relationship .
So yay, you really made my day, thank you! :3

Great work.

But now i'll stop bothering you with my opinions
